Ubisoft has confirmed that the downloadable content for Assassin's Creed IV that comes exclusively to PlayStation owners will remain that way indefinitely. That means the Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC versions of Ubi's latest won't ever be getting the content.
The publisher confirmed this news to Eurogamer after rumors began popping up suggesting Black Flag's additional content was merely a timed exclusive. The PlayStation-exclusive DLC features an hour's worth of content centered around Aveline, the female protagonist that starred in last year's Vita side story Assassin's Creed III: Liberation.
