Anda Seat T-Pro 2 Review: ‘My dream gaming chair combination’

ANDA SEAT T-PRO 2 GAMING CHAIR REVIEW. Let’s not beat around the bush: This is it. This is my new favorite chair from Anda Seat. Boasting a more subtle, less “gamery” design than the other chairs I’ve reviewed, the T-Pro 2 is suitable for both gaming dens and office spaces. It strikes a balance that I think will appeal to more mature gamers and it doesn’t break the bank while doing so. This is the GameRevolution review.

Speedrun building

Anda Seat T-Pro 2 Review

While I’m now something of an expert when it comes to building gaming chairs, I think even first-time builders will have no issues putting together the T-Pro 2. The instructions use clear images and the text is mostly well-written. There are a few grammar mistakes that have perhaps been lost in translation, but it’s a minor issue.

I expect most users to put the chair together in 15-20 minutes, especially if an additional person is available to help. Tools are provided and it’s easy to see what goes where. When complete, the chair dominates the space with its promised XL sizing.

Larger for life

Anda Seat T-Pro 2 Review

As a 6’7″ human weighing in at 110 kg, I greatly appreciate the “super king size” of the Anda Seat T-Pro 2. This size chair is recommended for folks who are between 180-210 cm tall, supporting weights of up to 200 kg. It’s a big chair for bigger people, so don’t underestimate the size of the box it comes in!

Other noteworthy features include the armrests with an excellent range of motion. They slide front to back, move up and down, left to right, and also pivot. The flexibility here is great as it allows every user to fine-tune the position for healthy support while typing.

Then there is the tilt mechanism. Though most users will permanently set the chair at 90-110 degrees for working or gaming at a desk, the T-Pro 2 does allow for up to 160 degrees of tilt. That is enough for the user to be lying almost completely horizontal. More useful features of the tilt mechanism include a rocking motion and quick adjustments using the handle on the right of the chair.

Build quality is also impressive, with robust-feeling foam used for the chair, a steel frame used underneath, an aluminum base to support the user’s weight across the five wheels, and high-quality armrests that I’m confident will last the test of time. Everything is still looking brand new after multiple weeks of heavy use.

Anda Seat T-Pro 2 Gaming Chair Review: The final verdict

Anda Seat T-Pro 2 Review

So that’s what the T-Pro 2 offers, but why is it my new favorite chair from Anda Seat? Well, it comes down to the overall look and materials used. I got the grey and black version and, man, does it look great. It’s much more subtle than the gaming designs the company offers and they even have a totally black version which completes the stealthy look.

Then there is the fabric, which I’ve found to be much more breathable than pleather. This is great for maintaining comfort during long hours gaming or working in a warm room. Anda Seat has made my dream chair by combining the great gaming chair features of its other products with a minimalist aesthetic that I truly love.

Of course, it can only earn my full recommendation if the price is right. The RRP is similar to that of other premium gaming chairs at $549.99 with lifetime warranty on the steel framework and two years warranty on parts. However, Anda Seat is not afraid of a big sale discount and, at the time of writing, the T-Pro 2 can be had for $384.99 (30% off) up until March 31, 2021.

When the price is right, I consider the Anda Seat T-Pro 2 one of the best gaming chairs for the money.
