Sea of Thieves‘ second season kicks off today, April 15, on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Pirates love their plunder, and apparently, players do too, with developer Rare taking some time to detail the new seasonal rewards. Here’s the lowdown on Trading Company, Plunder Pass, Trial, and Event, plus Renown reward unlockables in Sea of Thieves Season 2.
Sea of Thieves Season 2 rewards list
Simply by playing Sea of Thieves Season 2 all players are eligible to raise their Renown and earn “dozens” of rewards. Pirates that purchase the Plunder Pass for $9.99 will receive additional bonus rewards with each Renown increase. Trading Companies have also “stocked up on fresh rewards” for players that perform well in their Emissary Ledgers. Finally, completing new seasonal Trials and Events is a great way to speed up the process of unlocking everything.
Several items are debuting via the Sea of Thieves Season 2 Plunder Pass, before joining the Emporium at a later date. There are loads of exclusive cosmetics to snap up, courtesy of those extra Renown rewards mentioned earlier.

Sea of Thieves is also offering Twitch Drops throughout the second season, with additional details coming via the game’s social media channels. When active, players must link their Twitch and Sea of Thieves accounts before spending some time watching supported streamers.
Amazon Prime members can also link their Sea of Thieves and Amazon accounts to be eligible to receive in-game content drops. The rewards include character and ship cosmetics, emotes, and in-game currencies.
