As is to be expected with any major launch of this scale, the release of PlayStation 4 has caused some issues for those trying to access the PlayStation Network.
Many users have been getting the error code "NW-31453-6 or NP-3500-8" along with the notification that "The network connection has been lost." Since there's a day one update for the system, it's no wonder everyone is trying to sign in and thus putting strain on Sony's network.
Over on its support site, the company is asking users to be patient. "The PlayStation Network is currently experiencing extremely high volume, some gamers may experience some difficulty connecting. We ask for your patience."
