Sega and Relic are offering Company of Heroes 2 and its Ardennes Assault expansion for free on Steam for PC. This World War 2 real-time strategy game was released in 2013. However, it’s definitely still worth a play, especially considering the price. In addition to the base game and the Ardennes DLC being free, (almost) all the other DLC is 75% off, so those who try Company of Heroes 2 and like it can get all the content for it on the cheap.

How do you get Company of Heroes 2 free on Steam?
There is a small catch with the Company of Heroes 2 free offer. You have to claim it between May 27 and June 3. As long as you download the game (or at least start the download and cancel it) and the Ardennes Assault expansion between those dates, you’ll get them for free. Players can also get the Case Blue Mission Pack by signing up on the official website.
The base Company of Heroes 2 campaign follows the Soviet Army’s push toward Berlin starting in the Battle of Stalingrad in 1942. You can follow the war all the way to the Fall of the Reichstag across multiple campaign missions.
The Ardennes Assault DLC is a single-player standalone expansion that narrows the focus a bit. The 18 scenarios included are based around the Battle of the Bulge, the last major German counterattack of World War 2. It also adds the USF faction for both single-player skirmishes and multiplayer.
Company of Heroes 2 is an excellent snag for free, and because it’s an older game, it runs on just about any PC made in the last five years. There’s also a plethora of mods for the game that add units, maps, and more. So, make sure to log onto Steam and pick it up before the offer ends on June 3.
