Fall Guys remains insanely popular. The title, which took last summer by storm, still boasts a strong audience on PlayStation and PC. However, that audience is only going to get bigger as the game comes to more consoles, with the Nintendo Switch a notable missing platform from the game’s repertoire. Dreams of a portable version of Fall Guys will be answered in due time though it’s been confirmed a port for Nintendo’s console is on the way.
When can players get the Switch version of Fall Guys in 2021?
The big question that remains about the version is simply – when? Unfortunately, the answer is longer than expected. The Nintendo Switch port of the game, like the Xbox, was recently pushed back. Both were meant to arrive this summer, but in a blog post, Mediatonic announced that they are taking a little extra time on the versions. Although, it seems to be for good reason, with the delay allowing a fuller feature set. The developer said: “This delay gives our team some time to add features like crossplay, so when we add new platforms, players will be able to stumble in harmony with their pals, regardless of their platform of choice.” It’s great that when the game does finally land, players will have freedom with who they decide to play with.
It was not specified when the Nintendo Switch version of Fall Guys was getting pushed too. For now, an exact date is not entirely clear. However, there is some hope that it might not be too far in our future. On the Nintendo store listing for the game, a 2021 date is stated. This might hopefully suggest that the game is bound to reach us by the end of the year.
Fall Guys Season 5 came out yesterday which is exciting for the game. In season 4, the playerbase almost quadrupled.
