Kanye West has been working on a new album called Donda, and it was supposed to release today. That was the plan, anyway, but West isn’t exactly known for his timeliness. No one other than Kanye West knows when the Donda album will release. It was originally scheduled for a midnight July 23 launch, but that release window has since passed. Until we hear otherwise, no one has any idea when Kayne’s new album will launch.
That’s not to say that it’s not finished, of course. West held a listening party last night, where he rather appropriately showed up late. Once he arrived, a packed stadium was treated to the new album as West himself paced around the arena.
How to listen to Kanye West Donda: Is it on Apple Music or Spotify?
Since Donda hasn’t been officially released, it’s not currently possible to listen to it on Spotify or Apple Music. Those services will only be able to stream Kanye’s new album once he decides to release it.
Fortunately, there are plenty of clips floating around social media. Even though you won’t be able to hear entire songs, you can browse #Donda on Twitter for highlights of the live listening party. The quality is entirely up to the person who made the recording, but if you’re eager to hear the new tracks before your friends, this is the best option so far.
Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long until Kanye West provides a proper release date for his new album Donda. It’s not unusual for him to delay tracks, of course, so there’s really no telling when the launch date may come. Maybe he’s busy playing Sonic the Hedgehog.
