A possible Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds PC release date may have been revealed, as the MMO based on the popular Ni No Kuni JRPG series is making the jump from mobile to PC. The Ni No Kuni MMO PC release was revealed by a new rating on the Taiwan Game Rating Board, so may be on its way next year when the iOS and Android version of the Cross Worlds game heads for a Western release.
What is the Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds PC release date?
The PC version of Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds will likely launch in Chinese, Japanese and Korean territories first and then have a worldwide release date during the first half of 2022, alongside the global release of the iOS and Android versions of the game.
The Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds MMO was released in Asian territories on June 10 this year on iOS and Android mobile platforms, and is an online RPG set in the same universe as Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch and Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom. As spotted by TwistedVoxel, the Taiwan Ratings Board has leaked a PC version of the Cross Worlds MMO that will likely come out during the game’s global launch.
Cross Worlds is made by Netmarble, the same studio behind the open-world MMO Marvel: Future Revolution — which players are already braving VPNs to get hold of since it’s also not available worldwide just yet, although it’s rumored to appear before Cross Worlds later this year. As for the Ni No Kuni series itself, other than the release of the first game Wrath of the White Witch on Switch in 2019 — which our reviewer was impressed by — there hasn’t been much movement, despite Ni No Kuni 3 supposedly being in development. Fans will probably have to wait for the release of Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds on PC and mobile next year to return to the Studio Ghibli-inspired world.
