Bandai Namco has just announced the Jump Force online ending date, bringing to a close the troubled franchise fighting game, which obviously wasn’t as popular as the publisher had hoped — even though it contained major manga characters from the likes of DragonBall, One Piece, and Naruto. The Jump Force ending date will be next year, with the game being pulled from sale a few months before the servers are shut down completely.
What is the Jump Force online ending date and time?
The Jump Force servers will shut down and the game will go offline on:
- August 24, 2022 — 6 PM-10 PM PDT
- August 24, 2022 — 9 PM-1 AM EDT
- August 25, 2022 — 2 AM-6 AM BST
- August 25, 2022 — 10 AM-2 PM JST
Bandai Namco has announced that Jump Force will be pulled from sale in February 2022, including all DLC packs, and the servers will close down permanently six months later in August 2022. The single-player campaign will still be available, as will all offline play, but anything connected to online will be shut down — including multiplayer, leaderboards, online rewards, events, clans, noticeboards, and the in-game store and premium shop.
Judging by the reaction online to the announcement, fans aren’t particularly surprised. Jump Force received terrible reviews when it came out, and despite the range of characters and franchises offered and the game launching on Nintendo Switch just last year, it obviously didn’t end up at a place where Bandai Namco was comfortable keeping it going. It’s actually a surprise that the publisher is keeping the online services going for almost a whole year after the announcement, so presumably, it hopes to get a few more sales before it closes up shop.
