BioShock creator and Irrational Games founder Ken Levine’s new game may be about to finally be revealed at The Game Awards next week if a new rumor is to be believed. While a BioShock 4 trailer is also rumored to be at the event, Ken Levine and his new studio Ghost Story Games’ reveal trailer for the developer’s first title since BioShock Infinite could be there, too. It’s been described as an “immersive sci-fi game with RPG elements.”
BioShock creator Ken Levine’s new game Game Awards reveal rumored
According to a new rumor by leaker @RalphsValve on Twitter, the new game from Ken Levine — the creator of BioShock and founder of both Irrational Games and new studio Ghost Story Games — will be finally shown off in a world premiere trailer at The Game Awards 2021 next Thursday, December 9. RalphsValve initially posted a picture of BioShock, which is also rumored to be getting a sequel revealed at the TGAs, but the leaker confirmed they were referring to Ghost Studios Games — adding “they are expected to reveal something for TGA.”

While Ken Levine and Ghost Story don’t have anything to do with the new BioShock, fans don’t know much about their new game either. Ghost Story Games was revealed back in 2017 but the only hints the studio has given suggest that it is a “new immersive sci-fi game with RPG elements” according to a job listing posted a year ago. Ken Levine has previously talked about “narrative LEGOs” and creating a new type of interactive narrative experience, and that will probably play a part in the game. It’s apparently in the “later stages of production” so a reveal at The Game Awards is entirely possible.
Other than this, BioShock 4, and a possible release date trailer for Gotham Knights that may include The Joker’s reveal, The Game Awards 2021 is still something of a mystery — although it’s likely there will be a lot more teases coming in the week or so up to the event itself.
