Final Fantasy 14 Patch 6.1 Release Date

Final Fantasy 14 Patch 6.1 Release Date Announced With New MSQs

Square Enix has announced the upcoming Final Fantasy 14 Patch 6.1 release date along with a spiffy trailer showcasing the bulk of the patch’s content. Patch 6.1, subtitled “Newfound Adventure,” will feature new Main Scenario Quests that are chronologically after the end of the game’s brilliant expansion Endwalker.

What are the patch notes for Final Fantasy XIV update 6.1?

Arriving in less than two weeks, the Final Fantasy 14 Patch 6.1 release date has been set for April 12, and the update comes with a tantalizing amount of added content including new dungeons, a new Trial, and an Alliance Raid for 24 players.

First and foremost is a bit of an epilogue after the events in Endwalker which sees the return of the Warrior of Light as a simple adventurer. Now that the Scions of the Seventh Dawn have receded back to whence they came, this would be a good time to setup what will come next.

Patch 6.1 will also come with a new Duty Support System that allows you to attempt to clear dungeons in the main scenario solo with a party of NPCs instead of a party of four players.

Those looking for high-difficulty scenarios will enjoy the new 24-player Alliance Raid called Myths of the Realm. Players will have access to the first part of this raid while delving more deeply into the lore of the divinities known as The Twelve. There’s also a new trial called The Minstrel’s Ballad and an updated version of Ultima’s Bane where Level 90 characters will be pitted against Ultimate Weapon once more.

Players looking for new housing opportunities will be interested in Empyreum, a residential district in the newly restored Firmament. The lottery system and plot purchasing details have already been released.

Beyond that, Patch 6.1 will come with new minions, emotes, tribal quests, a beta version of Adventurer Plates to show off your titles, and a new PvP mode called Crystalline Conflict where two teams of five players attempt to push a crystal into the other team’s goal.

In other news, the Xbox Series X seems to be casually in stock at Amazon and Walmart, and E3 2022 has been thoroughly cancelled.
