What is the Quordle answer 95? (April 29, 2022)
The Quordle answer 95 is:
- “NEVER”
- “STAVE”
- “LOUSE”
- “QUALM”
None of the words in today’s Quordle are gimmes. As you can probably tell at first glance, “QUALM” is the most unusual five-letter configuration this time around, as all “Q” words tend to be, along with the rare “-lm” ending. Hopefully, hunting for the middle letters will get you the word by the end.
That said, the other three words aren’t terribly easy either. Both “NEVER” and “STAVE” have the rare “V” which you might not be able to eliminate until the last few guesses. “STAVE” and “LOUSE” also aren’t the most commonly used words, so it might take awhile for you to think of those them in particular.
The basic strategy of guessing words with entirely different letters, especially the five vowels, for the first three guesses works very well for today’s Quordle. Since you have four words to deal with on the grid (instead of just one in classic Wordle), it’s good to knock out as many common letters as possible at the start, so that later on it can lead you to the more unusual letters like “Q” and “V.” You’ve got nine guesses to work with, so unless you get many letters of a word confirmed in the green or yellow right at the start, it’s worth investing in the process of elimination by the time to reach the last three guesses.
