- Open and log in to Twitter via a webpage.
- Although users are trying to change the settings within the Twitter app, the mobile version does not have the “Sensitive Content” box.
- On mobile, the webpage can be accessed by any browser app, like Safari, Google Chrome, Firefox, and more.
- Click your account information.
- This can be found by clicking on your profile image in the top left corner.
- Scroll down and select “Settings and privacy.”
- Select “Privacy and safety.”
- Click the “Content you see” and make sure that the “Display media that may contain Sensitive Content” box is checked.
- Refresh your Twitter app and Sensitive Content will now be visible.
Most users will be frustrated by this long-winded workaround. It requires multiple steps outside of the official Twitter mobile app to complete. Fingers crossed that a future update will implement this feature into the Twitter iPhone and Android apps allowing users to have full control over their settings within the app itself.
