Activision and Treyarch have announced the Call of Duty: Vanguard Season 4 content coming later this month. Treyarch is making good on their promise to bring back round-based Zombies with the return of the Shi No Numa map, while multiplayer will benefit from the new USS Texas 1945 map and a game mode.
The content included in Call of Duty: Vanguard Season 4
Shi No Numa first made its debut 13 years ago in Call of Duty: World at War, only this time it returns with a new main quest, side quests, a new Wonder Weapon quest, fresh intel, the Altar of Covenants, and the Tome of Rituals. The multi-step quest will end with a “devastating battle” and players will receive a Calling Card for their efforts.
Two new multiplayer maps will arrive throughout Season 4 but only USS Texas 1945 will be available at the start. The offshore battleship has been reimagined from Call of Duty: WWII and has relocated to the waters of Caldera. The medium-size map offers long-range battles on either port but more confined conflict within its interior. Later in the season, the small-to-medium-sized Desolation village map will arrive.
Blueprint Gun Game will be making its debut in Vanguard while there’ll be a new Ranked Season too. Three new weapons — the Marco 5 SMG, UGM-8 LMG, and the Push Dagger — will be available at launch, while the Vargo-S assault rifle arrives later in the season. Carver Butcher will be the new Operator available at the season’s start, and he’ll be joined by Callum Hendry and Ikenna Olowe later on. Call of Duty Season 4 will launch in Vanguard on June 21 with a mid-season Reloaded update still to be dated.
In other news, Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 will add the brand new Fortune’s Keep map a day later on June 22. Elsewhere, the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 Week 2 Quests are available now.
