Disney Dreamlight Valley Pumpkins

Disney Dreamlight Valley Pumpkins and Pumpkin Puffs: What is the Best Way to Earn Star Coins?

Without question, Disney Dreamlight Valley pumpkins are the best, most efficient way to earn Star Coins in the game. And if you’ve got the time to spare, turning those pumpkins into pumpkin puffs yields more than double that profit. Even with how long it takes for pumpkins to grow, it’s well worth the time, particularly for players who have reached the endgame and wish to stockpile Star Coins for future content or for buying everything in Scrooge’s daily store.

Disney Dreamlight Valley pumpkins and pumpkin puffs strategy explained

Disney Dreamlight Valley Pumpkin

First off, you won’t gain access to pumpkin seeds until you have unlocked The Forgotten Lands, which will likely be the final area that players will unlock as it costs a whopping 15,000 Starlight to acces. Goofy’s stand there will feature pumpkin seeds at a whopping 275 Star Coins each, but they’re well worth the cost.

Second, you may be tempted to plant these pumpkin seeds next to your house, but crops grow at an accelerated rate in their native territory, so we recommended clearing an area in The Forgotten Lands just to plant pumpkins. How large of an area depends on just how much profit you want and how much time you’ve willing to spend farming. And of course, remember to bring a companion with a Level 10 gardening focus so that you can effectively double your yield of pumpkins when they finally grow.

Pumpkins by themselves are worth selling on their own, with the profit per pumpkin being 389 Star Coins. But if you’ve willing to grind it out, you can instead turn those pumpkins into pumpkin puffs at a cooking station by combining a pumpkin with an egg and cheese. Egg and cheese are easily available at Remy’s restaurant, while Coal for the fire can be purchased at Kristoff’s stand.

Each pumpkin puff sells for 1,489 Star Coins, which yields a profit of 809 Star Coins each. The main downside, though, is that you’ll need to cook each Pumpkin Puff one at a time, so it’s understandable if that sounds like too much of a hassle. If that’s the case, selling stacks of regular pumpkins will be the better, more time-efficient option for you.

In other news, this is when Disney Dreamlight Valley might become free-to-play, as well as if the game supports multiplayer in splitscreen or online co-op.
