Rovio Announces Angry Birds Stella
rnAngry Birds developer Rovio has announced a brand-new entry in its popular bird-flinging series. It's called Angry Birds Stella and stars "a group of feisty characters with a shared love for fun, adventure and creativity." As expected, Rovio plans to expand this new sub-series far beyond games to toys, books, and any number of other forms of entertainment.
Darksiders, Red Faction Collections Coming From Nordic Games
rnNordic Games, the new rights holder of Darksiders and Red Faction , will be releasing compilations for both of the aforementioned series originally published by the late THQ. Joystiq spotted listings on the company's official site as well as Amazon UK with a release date of March 14th. Here's to hoping they come to North America as well.
MLB 14 The Show Launch Info Revealed
rnSony announced today that MLB 14 The Show will be arriving on PlayStation 3 and PS Vita on April 1st. The PlayStation 4 version will launch one month later, with an unspecified May release window. Mario Golf: World Tour, Kirby: Triple Deluxe Dated
rnDuring today's Nintendo Direct, company president Satoru Iwata announced that both Mario Golf: World Tour and Kirby: Triple Deluxe will be launching on May 2nd, exclusively for 3DS. With Mario Kart 8 also set to launch sometime in May, Nintendo fans will have plenty to keep them busy this Spring.
NES Remix Sequel Announced
rnNES Remix 2 will be hitting the Wii U eShop on April 25th, Nintendo announced during today's Direct presentation. Like the first entry, this sequel features a number of classics from the 8-bit era including Super Mario Bros. 3, Kirby's Adventure, and Zelda II. Am I the only one bummed we aren't getting SNES Remix instead?
