Sony has announced that it has signed on over 1,000 developers to self-publish games on PlayStation 4. That's a whole lot of indie content.
"Recently we reached a significant milestone with more than 1,000 developers licensed globally to self-publish on our platforms, 200 of those licensed in North America since PS4 was unveiled in February 2013," Adam Boyes, SCEA's VP of Publisher and Developer Relations, revealed in a post on PlayStation Blog.
Does the sheer wealth of content coming to PlayStation 4 have you psyched? Maybe I'm just overly cynical, but I can't help but fear the PlayStation Store might get flooded with a deluge of garbage, making it difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff. Just look at the current state of the Apple Store.
