Five-Year-Old Discovers Hole in Xbox Live Security

A five-year-old boy named Kristoffer Von Hassel has managed to discover a hole in the security of Microsoft's online gaming service.

In an interview with KGTV, the child explained how he was able to get access to his father's Xbox Live account and make purchases, all without knowing the password. After entering in the wrong password and being directed to a second screen, the boy simply input a bunch of spaces and was granted access to the XBL account.

Microsoft has since remedied the issue and rewarded the boy handsomely for his efforts. In addition to a free year of Xbox Live Gold, he received four free games and proper acknowledgement by the Big M.
