Xbox One will be getting a substantial boost in power, so long as the motion-tracking, voice-recognizing peripheral isn't connected.
Microsoft confirmed to Eurogamer that its next-gen gaming console will see a 10 percent increase in overall power, telling the outlet:
Yes, the additional resources allow access to up to 10 percent additional GPU performance. We're committed to giving developers new tools and flexibility to make their Xbox One games even better by giving them the option to use the GPU reserve in whatever way is best for them and their games."
Does this mean we may finally start to see parity between multiplatform games? No more visual and performance edge for PlayStation 4? I sure hope that's the case, if only to quell the resolution wars that have taken over the interwebs as of late.
