343i: Halo Won’t Expand Beyond Xbox One Right Now, but “We’re Listening to the PC Fans”

While the Halo franchise has primarily been an Xbox-exclusive series, a handful of the games—including Halo: CEHalo 2, and the recently-released Halo: Spartan Assault—have been made available to PC gamers. Sadly, though, it doesn't look like the upcoming Master Chief Collection will be made available to the "gaming master race" anytime soon, as 343i intends on keeping it an Xbox One exclusive… at least for now.

343 Industries boss, Bonnie Ross, acknowledged the fact that Halo has been on PC in the past, telling Eurogamer, "We've been on PC before, and Dan [Ayoub, 343 executive producer] has had games like Halo: Spartan Assault on there." However, that doesn't mean future Halo titles will be coming either. "Right now we are focused on Xbox One."

Still, PC gamers shouldn't lose hope, as Ross also told the outlet, "We're listening to the PC fans, but right now this is all focused on Xbox One."

Would you like to see future entries in the Halo series come to PC, or are you content with Microsoft's prized shooter series staying bound to Xbox One?
