EA Delays Battlefield Hardline, Dragon Age: Inquisition

Electronic Arts has announced that both Battlefield Hardline and Dragon Age: Inquisition have been delayed. The former has been pushed to early 2015, while BioWare's fantasy role-playing game will be out this November.

Battlefield Hardline was originally supposed to hit store shelves this fall, but Visceral and EA decided it would be best to take some extra time to improve the game with the feedback they received from gamers during the beta.

"The more we thought about these ideas, the more we knew we had to get them into the game you will all be playing," DICE VP Karl Magnus Troedsson explained on the Battlefield Blog. "However, there was only one problem. We would need more time. Time that we didn’t have if we decided to move forward with launching in just a couple of months."

Meanwhile, BioWare is taking an extra month to get Dragon Age: Inquisition in as polished a state as possible for launch. "We appreciate the enormous support we’ve received from all of you to get to this point, and while this extra few weeks may not seem like a lot, I know the game you’ll play will be all the better for it," executive producer Mark Darrah explained.

You can now cross out Inquisition's original October 7th release on your calendar and ink in its new launch date, November 18th.
