You’ll need to find the location of the Land of the Sky Fish in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom as part of the Clues to the Sky quest. Once there, you’re supposed to find a droplet and shoot an arrow with the mark of the king through it. Unfortunately, that’s the only clue you get from the tablet at Toto Lake, and it’s not very helpful. However, this puzzle is easy to solve once you take the clues very literally.
Where is the Land of the Sky Fish in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Clues to the Sky quest?
In Zelda: Tears of the Kingdon, the Land of the Sky Fish is in the Lanaryu Sky Archipelago and can be seen from Mipha Court. If you look at the Sky layer of your map, you’ll see a fish-shaped landmass called Floating Scales Island. You’ll notice that it looks just like a fish. So, it’s in the sky, looks like a fish, and is land. Land of the sky fish, get it?
Once you find the Land of the Sky Fish, you have to get to it. There are a few ways to do this:
- Equip Zora Armor, glide to it from Ploymus Mountain, and ride the waterfall up.
- Use the Zonai devices in Mipha Court to build a balloon and ride it over.
- Find one of the falling stones and ride it up to the island.
The easiest thing to do is just glide over to the waterfall and swim up it with the Zora Armor. If you don’t have the it by now, you need to go ahead and grab it anyway. It’s a required item for the upcoming dungeon.

Where to find the droplet in Tears of the Kingdom
To find the droplet for the Clues of the Sky quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll need to first get to Floating Scales Island. Once there, you’re not looking for an actual droplet of anything. Instead, you’re looking for something droplet-shaped.
To find the droplet, go to the highest point of the island in the middle and then look toward the floating rocks to the southwest. You’ll notice some of them are lining up to form an image. Strafe around a bit, and you’ll eventually see them make the image of a droplet.
Now, aim with your bow, and press up on the d-pad to attach the King’s Scale to your arrow. Fire it through the center of the droplet, and you’ll complete the Clues to the Sky quest and uncover the way to the next dungeon in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
