Viewfinder Chapter 1, Level 4-1 is a stumper, and you don’t have to finish it to move on to Chapter 2. It’s more complex than any you’ve faced to this point and will require you to use everything you know up to this point. Fortunately, it’s more tricky than tough, and once you catch on, it’s not tough to complete.
How to solve the puzzle in Viewfinder Chapter 1, Level 4-1
When you spawn into Viewfinder Chapter 1, 4-1, head down the stairs in front of you and grab the photo next to the couch. Point yourself toward the open air and rotate the image as seen above to move to the next part of the level.
Head through the corridor and pick up the photo off the table. You’ll see two tables in the image, but we only need to focus on the more dimly lit one with the couch nearby. Match the photo above and place it, then move to the table and pick up another image.
You may think you need to head right to the table that’s visible, but that’s a red herring. Instead, rotate your latest image to match the above and place your photo. Then head in and take a right to find a picture on another table.
You’re in the home stretch of Viewfinder Chapter 1, Level 4-1 now. You’ll be able to see the teleporter in your latest find, but it’s not obvious how to get to it. To figure out the solution, you need to think in three dimensions.
All you need to do to get to the teleporter is point toward to floor and place your image. You’ll fall downward, and you can activate it to leave the level.
At this point, you should have completed all of Chapter 1. Now, it’s time to move on to the next area, where you’ll find new mechanics to master.
