Viewfinder Chapter 2, Level 1-2 focuses on the photos’ ability to remove barriers. It also further acquaints you with the newest mechanic, which requires you to form images by viewing their pieces at the correct angle. These two things combined, along with some slightly touchy unlock conditions, can make the solution tough to figure out.
How to solve the puzzle in Viewfinder Chapter 2, Level 1-2
When you spawn into Viewfinder Chapter 2, Level 1-2, you’ll need to turn right slightly and head over to the table to grab your first photo. Don’t forget to check out the blinking phono and audio log nearby.
Aim the photo toward the fence, but be sure not to take out one of the wooden boards accidentally. The goal here is to place the picture while leaving these boards intact. The trick here is that you must do it from the left side of the room to eliminate an obstacle that will get in your way later.
Head through the fence and face the boards from the other side. The goal here is to line them up in your view to complete the picture. When you get close to doing so, you’ll find the camera gravitates toward the right area, but if you accidentally cut off too much of the floor when you use the picture to get past the fence, you won’t be able to complete this part. If this is the case, you’ll need to rewind and use the photo further down on the fence and give it another shot.
Once you line the image up correctly, it’ll open a second section where you’ll need to do the same thing. If there is a wall in your way, you’ll need to rewind and use the photo to eliminate it.
Line up the second picture, and you’ll discover the teleporter. Head through it and move on to your next challenge.
