You can pick up the Crimson King Coin in Remnant 2 when exploring the Gilded Chamber in Losomn. What this special item does is not immediately apparent, but gathering enough of them can make things a lot easier for you. We’ll tell you where to get Crimson King Coins, and they do below.
How to get Crimson King Coins in Remnant 2
You can farm Crimson King Coins in Remnant 2 while exploring the Gilded Chambers. The Teleport Fae elite enemies drop them, so to farm them, you’ll need to seek these foes out. Unfortunately, due to RNG, you might find 3-4 each run through the area, or you might not find any. Sometimes, you’ll get particularly unlucky, and it might take 4-5 runs before you spot another Teleporting Fae.
Your goal is to get at least three Crimson King Coins. So, keep running Gilded Chambers until you get that many.
Where to use Crimson King Coins
In Remnant 2, you use the Crimson King Coins to pay tribute to the Red Prince. The trick here is that if you don’t pay him at least three, you’ll have to fight him, which is a waste.
Pay the Red Prince at least three Crimson King Coins in tribute, and he’ll “kill” you. However, when you respawn, you’ll be rewarded with the Bloody Steel Splinter crafting material. Now, you can take that along with 5 Lumenite Crystals and 500 scrap to Ava McCabe to make the Blood Draw weapon mod. It’s pretty awesome as it makes the weapon it’s equipped to shoot out razor-sharp chain shards that impale up to 5 targets within 15m. It then pulls affected foes toward you and splits 250 damage between them equally, and applies 275 Bleeding damage for 15 seconds.
After paying tribute to the Red Prince, you may have some Crimson King Coins left over. Don’t let them go to waste! You can take them to the Nightweaver’s Web and trade them for Relic Fragments.
