December in Pokémon Go offers an exciting slate of events and bonuses beyond the impressive raid lineup. Players can anticipate increased spawns of certain Pokémon, especially those with a festive winter theme. This likely means spotting more Ice-type Pokémon in the wild to complement the Winter Wonderland atmosphere. Also expected are unique field research tasks guaranteeing rare items and potential encounters with event-themed Pokémon.

Special Community Day throwbacks are planned too, permitting players to catch past featured species equipped with their exclusive charged attacks. These provide both newer trainers opportunities to catch up and experienced trainers prospects to finish evolving their regional Pokédex entries. Popular perks like doubled Candy, multiplied Stardust earnings, and halved Egg hatch distances will probably feature during these events, fueling additional motivation for all trainers to venture outside and immerse themselves more deeply in the game.
