The Lethal Company Custom Boombox Music Mod allows you to add your own music to the game’s boombox, making your work shifts on the moon a bit more enjoyable. There are two ways to add music to your boombox, and we’ll detail both of them in detail below.
How to add custom boombox music in Lethal Company
There are two main ways to add custom boombox music in Lethal Company:
Using in-game chat commands
This is the easiest and most recommended method. Here’s how to do it:
First download Boombox Controller here. Then, open the in-game chat by pressing the Enter key. Type the following command: /bplay <add URL of the song you want to add>. The mod supports links from various sources like YouTube, SoundCloud, and downloadable MP3 files. Press Enter to send the command. The song will be uploaded to the boombox and added to the playlist. Unfortunately, there is a drawback to the custom boombox. Only players who also have this mod installed will be able to hear your custom tracks.
Manually adding files (Advanced users only)
This method requires some file management knowledge and is not recommended for beginners. To do this Locate the Custom Songs folder. This folder is typically located in “BepInEx/Custom Songs/Boombox Music”. You can access this folder by navigating to the directory where you installed the mod.
Place your MP3 or WAV music files directly into the Custom Songs folder. The mod will automatically detect and add new songs to the playlist when you launch the game.
