T-Pain Leroy Smith cosplay

T-Pain shows off Tekken 7 Leroy Smith cosplay on Instagram

T-Pain has seen plenty of success throughout his carer, reaching number one in the US Billboard charts with his song “Buy U A Drank” and collaborating with top performers like Flo Rida, Akon, and Jamie Foxx. However, aside from his illustrious music career, he’s also a gamer and a cosplayer. He recently shared his combined love for both of these pastimes in an Instagram post of him cosplaying as Tekken 7‘s Leroy Smith.

T-Pain’s Leroy Smith cosplay snap sees him kitted out in his finest as he makes use of a rather dapper walking cane, fully embodying the American martial artist. Further getting into the swing of things, T-Pain channeled the character by captioning the picture “Let me tell you somethin bruh!!!”

T-Pain also tagged Dragon Con in the past, as he was headed for the geek-centric pop culture convention to show off his cosplay in person. Additionally, he tagged WWE Superstar Xavier Woods, who currently serves as a Smackdown Tag Team Champion alongside New Day teammate Big E. Woods runs a successful gaming YouTube channel called UpUpDownDown, where he goes by the name Austin Creed and has shown off numerous cosplay efforts of his own, though he seemingly didn’t join T-Pain in partaking this year.

Leroy Smith is an all-new addition to the Tekken franchise, having been revealed as a DLC fighter scheduled to hit the game at some point later this year alongside Zafina, both as a part of the game’s third Season Pass. Fans, alongside T-Pain himself, took an immediate shine to the stylish character who’s backstory casts him as a seasoned martial artist that spent 50 years seeking to take revenge for tragic events that cost him his family and home as a young boy.
