It’s that time of day again. The Fortnite item shop September 5 update brings some sick eyewear, animalistic emotes, and some sleek gadgets. All items and prices are detailed below.
Fortnite Item Shop September 5 2018: Item Descriptions
- Steel Sight (Outfit): A female outfit that comes with a futuristic scouter-esque eyepiece. A bit of back bling is included. As the name implies this outfit has a chrome, casually militaristic look.
- Commando (Outfit): A female commando outfit. Everything is black except for the pants which are a muted forest green featuring subtle cameo print.
- Eagle (Emote): Flap your arms as if you were a majestic eagle! This emote has the player leaned over at approximately a 30-degree angle. Most of your weight is on your right leg when performing this emote. Not only will your arms flap largely and aggressively, your torso will move up and down when executing it. It’s quite dramatic.
- Rawr (Emote): This emote has you bending at the knee, taking a few steps, with your elbows bent, and roaring like a dinosaur.
- Fossil Flyer (Glider): This red glider is part of the Dino Guard set. It’s red and features subtle prehistoric themed print and a three claw slash mark.
- Studded Axe (Harvesting Tool): Part of the Sharp Style set, this axe is noticeable for its bright silver sheen as well as the brown studded fabric that wraps around it, near the top.

In increasing order, here is the rarity scale for reference: Handmade, Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic.
- Steel Sight (Outfit): 1,500 V-Becks, epic.
- Commando (Outfit): 800 V-Bucks, uncommon.
- Eagle (Emote): 500 V-Bucks, rare.
- Rawr (Emote): 500 V-Bucks, rare.
- Fossil Flyer (Glider): 500 V-Bucks, uncommon.
- Studded Axe (Harvesting Tool): 800 V-Bucks.
