Fortnite Bottle Rockets guide how to use

Fortnite Bottle Rockets release date and what they do

The brand-new Fortnite Bottle Rockets weapon is being added to Fortnite as part of the 7.30 update, which is available now. While this wasn’t the only new addition to the game thanks to the latest update, a new weapon in Fortnite is always something to write home about. Read on to discover what the Bottle Rockets in Fortnite does, how to use them, and more.

Fortnite Bottle Rockets | What they do

Fortnite Bottle Rockets

The Bottle Rockets in Fortnite are something of a unique weapon. They act as something like an airstrike, great for dealing tonnes of damage from above on enemies, structures, and more. Bottle Rockets are a thrown weapon that spews out a lot of firework-style rockets in a mortar-like trajectory.

Once you have thrown your Bottle Rockets down, they will not move and will keep firing rockets until they run out. If you’re caught in the blasts, there is little you’ll be able to do, unfortunately. Our advice? It’s best to use these bad boys on structures and buildings, as it will destroy them in no time. As you can see in the image above (credit Fortnite YouTube).

As it is seemingly so powerful, the Bottle Rockets weapon is an uncommon pickup. You will find them, however, in Floor Loot, Vending Machines, Supply Llamas, Supply Drops, and Chests. You will only be able to carry two of them at any time. This is because they fire off 45 rockets randomly within a cone of destruction across around nine seconds. Each rocket blast will deal 40 environmental damage and 10 player damage per explosion. Trust us, you don’t want to get caught in the blast.
