It’s only just begun, but a Division 2 open beta enemy spawn bug is causing plenty of problems for Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment. The glitch is preventing enemies from appearing in the beta’s first gunfight. Here’s our Division 2 Open beta enemy spawn bug fix if you happen to come across it.
The Division 2 Open beta enemy spawn bug
As we mentioned, The Division 2 open beta enemy spawn bug occurs during the first fight, which takes place outside of the White House. Various enemies are supposed to spawn in and cause you to fight back, but they aren’t turning up for some and, as a result, are preventing players from making progress.
Ubisoft is aware of this issue, according to community manager Ubi-Petter on the game’s official forums, and the team is hard at work on a permanent fix. For now, read on below to see what a potential solution is.
The Division 2 Open beta enemy spawn bug fix
If you happen to come across The Division 2 open beta enemy spawn bug, one of these two solutions should resolve it for you. Firstly, you can try logging out of the character selection screen, and then logging back into it. Once you have done this, you can try the first mission again and see if the enemies spawn.
If they do, then great. If not, however, you can try this instead. Head into the White House itself, and climb up the stairs. You will come across a room with a few survivors in it, including a woman who is sitting at a desk. She’s on a laptop, with a map out on her table, and five clipboards with forms on them.
Look behind her and you’ll see a red set of double doors. You must go through this doorway to trigger a cutscene. This will allow you to progress on through the mission, if the glitch doesn’t bring enemies your way.
