The relatively new Epic Games Store has been grabbing exclusive deals for new and upcoming PC games seemingly in an attempt to gather more users. Borderlands 3 is simply continuing the trend. PC gamers who prefer to play on platforms that aren’t the Epic Games Store will be glad to know, however, that Borderlands 3 is a timed exclusive. You will only be able to buy the game on PC through the Epic Games Store up until April 2020.
Why Is Borderlands 3 Not On Steam? | Borderlands 3 Steam Release Date
As we explained above, Borderlands 3 will be a timed exclusive on the Epic Games Store. This will last for around seven months, ending in April 2020. This means that the earliest we will see a Borderlands 3 Steam release date will be during Q2 2020. Despite this, we don’t know that for certain. All we know is that from April 2020, Borderlands 3 will be available to buy across different digital storefronts on PC.
Additional digital storefronts on PC doesn’t necessarily include Steam. We’d like to think, though, that Borderlands 3 will be available on Steam as soon as possible.
