Blackout Map Changes Wetworks

The Blackout Wetworks map update has changed the northern areas of the Blackout map rather dramatically. The Hydro Dam has burst, leaving many of the areas nearby flooded. Factory, Cargo Docks, Hijacked, and even the farm nearby to Firing Range have all been flooded. This means one thing: a lot more boat usage from now on.

You will be able to drive a boat through the barn on the farm, for example, or salvage loot from underwater containers in Cargo Docks. The Hyrdo Dam explosion and flood afterward have moved Hijacked up to the north-west of the Blackout map. This means that you will be able to attack players in Hijacked from Construction Site and vice versa. On top of all of this, too, you’ll now find that all of the map’s river banks have been flooded. This has uncovered plenty of houseboats, which make for great hiding spots and new areas to find loot. It appears that quite a lot has changed thanks to the flood.

Get those flood pants ready. Your feet may get soaked, but at least your cuffs will be bone dry.

Blackout Map Changes | Alcatraz alterations

Blackout Map Changes Wetworks

It’s not only the main Blackout map that has been changed following the latest Black Ops 4 update. Alcatraz has also been updated. There’s nothing as major as a giant flood, however.

The Alcatraz map now features more holes, doors, and stairways. These have all been added in an attempt to free up the map, especially in the latter stages of any match. Hopefully, you won’t get stuck in any dead ends anymore. You will also be able to climb objects faster in Alcatraz now, too. Everything’s coming up Milhouse.
