Star Wars Battlefront 2 Leia Skin | Capital Supremacy community event
The Star Wars Battlefront 2 Leia Skin was supposed to be a reward for players if the recent Capital Supremacy community event was completed. This in-game event required players to collectively capture four million command points between May 1 and May 6. If players were successful in completing it, an epic Princess Leia skin — the one with the space buns from A New Hope — would be unlocked and given to everyone who participated.
The problem was that there was a ton of server disruption in the final two days of the event. This stopped players from achieving the target set by EA DICE and, as such, the Leia skin wasn’t unlocked in time.
As it stands, if you didn’t manage to log on, you won’t get the Leia skin as part of the May 4 Community Event rewards.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 Leia Skin | Will it be available again?
Yes, the Star Wars Battlefront 2 Leia skin will be made available to players to get again in the future. Taking to his personal Twitter account, DICE community manager Ben Walke explained how this would happen.
Walke stated that, due to the server issues last weekend, EA DICE would be giving players another chance to earn the Leia skin. He didn’t specify what date and time that people would need to be aware of, which is likely down to the fact that the developers don’t know themselves yet.
Walke went on to explain that players wouldn’t be expected to complete the challenge again though, which will be music to your ears we imagine. Once we find out more, we’ll be sure to let you know.
