It’s a great little way to give you more ways to heal up in battle, and definitely an option that we’d suggest keeping your mind open to.

Alternatively, you can also cook and sell fish. This will allow you to reap a little gold for your trouble, which can help you round off your coin purse just a little bit more. Of course, you aren’t going to make an insane amount of gold off of selling your fish, unless you go for harder to acquire fish like the Stormfish. Cooking fish in Sea of Thieves is actually quite easy. All you really need to do is make your way to a campfire that has a cooking pan above it. These can be found on every ship that you can sail in Sea of Thieves, as well as at the various outposts situated around the seas. Make your way to the closet cooking station and plop that fish into the pan.

You can speak with the various members of the Hunter’s Call to sell your fish, and you’ll receive a nice profit of gold and experience for your trouble. Again, you’ll want to cook your fish before you sell it, as a cooked rare fish is much more valuable than a raw rare fish.

The clan members of The Hunter’s Call will purchase more than just fish, though. You can also visit these friendly vendors to sell the various meats available to players in the game, as well as any mermaid statue gems that you might have collected during your time out on the seas. It’s always worth picking up any valuables that you come across while sailing around the seas, as you never know when they’ll come in handy for a quick bit of gold and experience.
