The annual installment to the NBA 2K series is set to release early next month and has basketball fans all around the globe lacing up their shoes. Prior to the official release, 2K will be releasing a NBA 2K20 demo that will allow players to get a sample of the game to help them decide if they want to buy it or not. The NBA 2K20 release date is set for the end of this month. Just a few weeks before the full release, players are going to be able to get their hands on a demo version of 2K20, according to a Facebook post from the game’s official page. The post states that the NBA 2K20 demo will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch (sorry PC) starting at 12:01 AM PT on August 21. The demo will allow players to get a head start on their MyCareer and test the new MyPlayer builder. Additionally, players can try out a bunch of different MyPlayer configurations which will carry over to the full game at launch on September 6, 2019.

The demo can be downloaded ahead of release from your respective platform store. At the time of writing, the demo is not available for download, but it will likely show up as the demo release date gets closer. NBA 2K20 will also see the debut of all 12 WNBA teams at the launch of the game. Basketball is not the only sport bringing women to its video game, as FIFA 20 and WWE 2K20 have also done the same.
