The Borderlands 3 intro song is called “Put it On the Line” by The Heavy. If that group sounds familiar, it’s because some of their work appeared in other Borderlands games as well. In fact, two of their songs appeared in the previous Borderlands game, “How You Like Me Now?” and “Short Change Hero.”
The Heavy is made up of four friends, Kelvin Swaby, Dan Taylor, Spencer Page, and Chris Ellul. The group is based out of Bath, Somerset, England and was formed in 2007. Since then, a handful of their songs have been featured in different forms of media.
You can find some songs from The Heavy featured in TV shows like The Vampire Diaries, Community, White Collar, and Longmire, among others. Additionally, aside from hearing them in the Borderlands 3 intro song, you can hear songs from The Heavy in video games trailers like Batman: Arkham City, MLB 10: The Show, and NHL 13.
