Fortnite New Default Pickaxe | Has it changed?
Thanks to the latest Fortnite update, we should have a brand-new default Pickaxe to use in the game. It doesn’t appear as though there is any particular reason as to why we have been given a new default Pickaxe design, but we have one. We think it looks great. It’s detailed, without being too distracting or overdesigned. It looks sharp and shiny, just how you’d want a Pickaxe. Interestingly, on the head of the new default Pickaxe, you can see “3-16” inscribed on the metal. Aside from being a Bible verse, it’s anyone’s guess why “3-16” is on the Pickaxe.

As you can see, the handle has been thinned out, with a grip added for support. The head, however, has had a chunk taken out of it towards its front end. We’d guess that’d make it lighter to hold and swing in reality, but it just looks cool here. If you’re after the new default Pickaxe, we’ve got some good news for you. You may already have it.
When you download and install the latest update, you should own the new Fortnite default Pickaxe. It’s the new default option. You may need to choose to equip it if you have any other Pickaxe equipped.
