A new patch is on the way next week for The Outer Worlds. Unfortunately, we don’t know exactly when The Outer Worlds 1.02 update will go live on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. However, we do know at least a few things that the patch will do, thanks to a patch notes preview. You can read through the patch notes highlights and full list below.
The Outer Worlds 1.02 Update Highlights
As stated above, this new The Outer Worlds update is currently scheduled to go live at some point in the next week, although this could change. We will update this guide with the exact date as soon as we know it. Thankfully, though, we do know at least some of the patch notes for the upcoming update, which includes a much-needed increase in font size in subtitles and conversations. Check it all out below.

Fixes & Improvements
Rather than adding anything new, this new update to The Outer Worlds looks to be supplying a selection of handy fixes and improvements. The oft-maligned font size is at long last being increased. No longer will you need to squint to read what characters are saying, as conversations and subtitle font sizes are being increased. Nothing has been said about increasing the menu and overworld font sizes, however.
Thanks to the new update, you should also be able to finish the “Radio Free Monarch” quest as intended. The crashing issue in Tartarus should also be fixed, too, along with the “Not the Best Choice” Trophy not unlocking bug. Read through the complete list of fixes in the patch notes below.
