As part of the final Fortnite Winterfest challenges, the actual difficulty here involves finding the Ice Throne itself. Fortunately, it’s not hard to spot if you know where to look. Fortnite Winterfest | Where to find the Ice Throne location
The Fortnite Ice Throne location can be found just north of Pleasant Park. In proper frozen fashion, the Ice Throne is right near the island’s northern border, and appears as building created in the shape of an enormous chair — so enormous, in fact, that two full-size snowmen are resting between the throne’s legs. Of course, the Ice Throne is only one of the three different locations where players need to seek out Ammo Boxes. The others include the Workshop as well as Shiver Inn, a massive ice-built complex toward the island’s southeastern edge. If there are no Ammo Boxes within the Ice Throne, you’ll have to head south and search these other locations.
Within the Ice Throne, the Ammo Boxes appear to spawn somewhere near the building’s twin staircases. Considering how quickly players can sweep through the location, it’s probably best to land atop the Ice Throne and work your way down. If there are no Ammo Boxes to be found, it’s a good idea to head to the Shiver Inn next.
As is probably expected, the Ice Throne location is found in the northernmost reaches of the Fortnite island. It’s a throne fit for a frozen king, after all, and it’s not a bad place to start searching for Ammo Boxes to complete this season’s final Winterfest challenge.
