Red Access Cards first appeared in Warzone around the end of April, but weren’t formally introduced until the update released on May 18, 2020. Their sole purpose is to allow access to bunkers, specifically the ones with green lights above the vault doors.
Like with other items in the game, these access cards are found as random loot. They’re a very rare drop, but may appear more frequently from red or orange crates. They can also be dropped by other players who have been downed before they had a chance to use them.
If you find a Red Access Card, you’d be wise to use it as soon as possible. The bunkers they unlock contain large amounts of money and crates that will surely help your squad on the road to victory. With that said, you should be very cautious around bunkers, as other players are likely to have staked them out, hoping to score an easy kill. If you die and drop your access card outside a bunker, you’re effectively giving other players access to loads of weapons and ammunition.
Red Access Cards in Warzone are rare drops designed specifically to open bunkers. If you find one, keep it safe and use it as quickly as possible. Just be sure not to let it fall into the wrong hands, or your loss will be your enemy’s gain.
