Crytek’s Warface: Breakout is out now on PS4 and Xbox One, but is there a Warface: Breakout PC release date? Read on to find out if the new game in the Warface franchise will make its way onto the PC or not.

Is there a Warface: Breakout PC release date?

Warface: Breakout PC

As of writing, there is no word on a Warface: Breakout PC release date or port. The game has been developed with other titles such as Counter-Strike as inspiration but with controller support specifically in mind. As such, at launch, Warface: Breakout is available only on PS4 and Xbox One. The development team has said nothing on a potential PC release date for the game. We wouldn’t be surprised to see it release on PC at some point in the future, however.

It seems as though Warface: Breakout has been developed to bring the classic, Counter-Strike-esque PvP competitive first-person shooter action to home consoles. It makes some sense, therefore, that it isn’t on PC. As stated above, though, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the game ported to PC eventually. This is especially true considering that the original Warface is available on PC via Steam. It all depends on how well Warface: Breakout does.

If Warface: Breakout performs well on PS4 and Xbox One, it could release on PC. Without a word from the developers, however, there is no guarantee that it will ever release. If there is going to be a Warface: Breakout PC release date, don’t expect it until the end of 2020 at the earliest. We’re thinking a port in 2021 is the most likely, if it ever happens at all. For now, you’ll have to make do with playing the game on PS4 or Xbox One.
