Maneater Patch Notes 1.04 | Update Build 1.0.7.0
The latest Maneater patch notes spell out a lot of bug fixes, but there are no details of new content. However, there are a few platform-specific fixes to be found, including a PS4 controller connection problem as well as fixes for graphical glitches on the Xbox One. Otherwise, this update is mainly focused around getting the game to run as smoothly as possible.

The developers at Tripwire Interactive had intended to release update 1.04 earlier in the week. However, speaking on the official Tripwire forums, the team discovered save issues in the test build. They made the decision to delay the update in order to make sure the save system works as intended. As a bonus, the delay gave them the opportunity to throw in a few additional fixes meant for a later patch.
Still, as updates go, this one is fairly standard. The developers implemented a new backup save system that relies on two save files, in case one gets corrupted. Environments, buildings, and in-game objects have been tweaked, and minor issues such as missing audio cues and collision detection have been addressed. The only noteworthy change here is that bounty hunter quests will no longer require diver kills in order to progress.
