Finding all Mortal Shell shells might take some work. These classes are all hidden in different areas. They are worth finding since they are all useful in one way or another. So what are the Mortal Shell locations and what are their classes? You’ll get the You Seem Different… trophy or achievement for finding all of them.

Mortal Shell | Shell classes
Here’s a complete rundown of where to find the Mortal Shell shells and their classes.
Harros, The Vassal shell
Harros will be your first shell. He is the average soldier with a balanced stat sheet with a relatively equal spread across health, stamina, and resolve. A lot of his abilities are structured around getting glimpses (more on that here) and the Harden ability as he can lower its cooldown in a few ways and get his stamina back quickly while using the ability. Given how he is likely the first one you’ll find, his Harden upgrades, and his ability to level up quickly, he is one of the best classes to start with.
Harros is right in the beginning of the game right as you exit the tutorial and crawl through that long crevice.
Just go forward go left at the fork in the road. He’ll be on the ground. It’s hard to miss.
Solomon, The Scholar
Solomon is the best for those who want to use Resolve-based attacks like special weapon moves and parries (more on that here). Given this, he is one of the more advanced characters in the game. Solomon’s abilities are mainly geared around getting back more Resolve in creative ways like talking to NPCs or through parries, the latter of which is up to a dice roll. Depending on parries is a risky proposition but one that can pay off if the player is skilled enough as the weapon abilities that use Resolve are very powerful.
Solomon is right after the Grisha mini-boss in Fallgrim right next to Fallgrim Tower (which has the Old Prisoner and Sester inside). Go straight into that cave area with the bear traps.
Here is the Grisha. Kill it.
Once you do, go down the slope the red arrow is pointing at. It’s in the center of the room.
Once you do that, you’ll see a small hole at the bottom of the slope. Crawl inside.
Fight the enemy inside and then you’ll see Solomon on the ground.
Eredrim, The Venerable
Eredrim is the big tank. He doesn’t have much stamina but can absorb a ton of hits. He is great for beginners since he has such a high health pool. Most of his abilities can either buff his health or attack power, making him a true force to be reckoned with and probably the strongest class in the game.
Eredrim is by the entrance to the Seat of Infinity area (with all the black rocks). There are a few different routes you can take to get there but for simplicity’s sake, go to the area where you fight the Grisha and get Solomon.
But instead of going straight down the slope, crawl through the hole on the right side of the room.
Once you get to the other side, hug the left side of the area and go past the annoying archers. You’ll eventually come to this vista overlooking the entrance to the Seat of Infinity.
Go through that path and past the handful of enemies. You’ll see Eredrim leaning up a bit of rock.
Tiel, The Acolyte
Tiel is the sneaky rogue type in the game. He has very, very low health but an amazing dodge that is more akin to a teleport. Tiel is fantastic for those who want to have the capacity to attack and dodge a lot but are fine with dying in just a few hits. His skills are around doing poison damage and absorbing it, the latter of which makes him a great fit for the Crypt of Martyrs and the foggy version of the Fallgrim.
Tiel is a little tricky to describe so we’ll start with the Sester in the Fallgrim Tower. Go down to the left where the red arrow is pointing.
That red arrow will lead you to a small hole you can crawl through. Go ahead and crawl through it.
Once you come out, go around to the path below you to the right where the red arrow is pointing to.
You should see a big spooky tree with big bat-like creatures hanging from it. Go to it.
Yes, this scary tree. Go a little to the left side of it.
On the left, you’ll see this camp. Go to the cave where the red arrow is pointing.
This is that small cave. Go through this opening.
Once you do, you’ll see a small campfire. Go to where the red arrow is.
There is some wood blocking the entrance to a path you can crawl through. Attack the wood to break it open and crawl through.
There is a boss fight in this room against Ven Noctivagu. Just be sure to use the Harden ability to escape its grab ability. Kill it and Tiel will be on the ground for you to claim.
