Lords of the Fallen Character Guide

Character Guide

Lords of the Fallen doesn't feature character creation options. Instead, players control protagonist Harkyn, a criminal who wears his sins on his face (quite literally). Harkyn's story may be static, but his attributes and skills can still be customized over the course of the game.

Look below to find some of the different ways in which players can mold Harkyn, from the three starting classes to the various attributes that can be increased with XP.

Starting Classes

In addition to selecting a magic type (our full magic guide can be found here), players also choose one of three classes for Harkyn. Each comes with its own set of equipment and suits different playstyles, but that can change later in the game. Think of starting classes as a way to test out the beginning of the game. After that you can still shift your playstyle by finding different weapons and other equipment. In fact, the game defines this initial choice as "equipment selection" rather than class selection.

Cleric

A set forged by and for the battle monks of the north. The balance between mobility and defense coupled with a formidable blunt weapon and high quality shield makes this is a solid choice for an all-rounder.
