When are Franklin and Jingle coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons? Nintendo has revealed two big new updates heading towards everyone’s favorite island paradise sim in the near future, including one that looks to be bringing both Franklin the turkey and Jingle the reindeer to the game.
Read on to find out when Animal Crossing: New Horizons Franklin will be added to the game, along with the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Jingle release date.
When is Franklin being added to Animal Crossing: New Horizons?
Franklin should be coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons in time for Thanksgiving at the end of November 2020. Towards the end of its fall update reveal, Nintendo teased that both Franklin and Jingle are coming in the next free game update, releasing at the end of November 2020 (as you can see in the image above).
Franklin should bring the Harvest Festival to ACNH. It remains to be seen, however, what Nintendo has planned for Thanksgiving celebrations in the game. In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, for example, the turkey character appears alongside the in-game event. You could be asked to track down ingredients for Franklin to cook with. We’ll have to wait and see what Franklin brings to the table in late November.
When is Jingle coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons?
Jingle will be added to Animal Crossing: New Horizons in the late November update alongside Franklin. It’s unlikely we’ll see Jingle until Christmas time in December, however. Expect to see Jingle on your island during the game’s supposedly incoming Toy Festival. It remains to be seen what Nintendo has up its sleeves for Toy Festival/Christmas. Whatever happens in December in ACNH, though, it seems Jingle will play a part in it.
Jingle tends to appear on Toy Day in Animal Crossing. Toy Day takes place on December 24. In previous games, Jingle appeared from 8 PM on Toy Day. The jolly reindeer should give you presents when you speak to them. Time will tell what Jingle will be up to in Animal Crossing: New Horizons following the late November game update.
