First Class Trouble lands on PS4 and PS5 free with PS Plus

PlayStation owners and party game fans are getting a special treat next month. That’s because the social deduction title First Class Trouble is finally landing on PS4 and PS5. Best of all, it will be free to all PlayStation Plus subscribers throughout November 2021.

If you’re not already familiar with the game, First Class Trouble launched into Steam Early Access in April. It’s a social deduction experience, meaning human players need to work together to find and (hopefully) uncover the duplicitous impostors. Comparisons to Among Us are certainly fair, as the two games follow a similar premise.

The biggest difference in this case is that First Class Trouble is fully 3D. Developed by the team at Invisible Walls, the game takes place on the intergalactic cruise ship ISS Alithea. Aside from impostors, the antagonist of the game is the ship’s AI system, referred to as CAIN. As humans fight to survive, CAIN sends Personoids to foil their plans through deception and fatal traps.

All the usual tricks and traps seem to be present here, from “faulty” wiring to precipitously dangling chandeliers. Personoids have a few extra tricks, since they can use CAIN to better navigate the ship or identify potential hazards. Otherwise, to help better uncover the impostors among the group, the developers have thrown in an emote wheel as well as proximity based voice chat. Communication is key in this genre, so it’s nice to see all of the basic options covered.

Still, the best news here is that limited-time price tag. So long as you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you’ll be able to download and play First Class Trouble for free throughout November. The deal ends on December 6, so be sure to claim the game before that window closes. So long as you remain an active PS Plus subscriber, you’ll be able to keep playing as long as you like.
