To progress through the game and survive the dangerous environments you’ll come across, you must learn the Lethal Company computer commands. The following is a summary of the most important terminal commands and their functions:

General Commands

  • Help: When you first start out, this command can be useful as it shows you a list of all the available commands.
  • Moons: This command displays a list of all the moons you can explore, along with information on their percentages of scrap bought and hazard ratings. You can also type <Moon name> info to see more detailed information about a specific moon, or <Moon name> route to set your navigation route to that moon.
  • Store: Using this command, you can buy upgrades and other items to help you survive on your missions. You can type <Item name> info to see more information about a specific item, or <Item name> buy [quantity] to purchase a certain amount of that item.
  • Bestiary: You can see a list of all the monsters you’ve faced, their strengths and weaknesses, and their stats by using this command. This information can be invaluable for future encounters with these creatures.
  • Storage: You can rearrange furniture and customize the interior of your ship with this command.
  • Scan: This command counts the number of items and their total value on the current moon that you are on. This can assist in monitoring the amount of scrap you’ve gathered during a run.
  • View Monitor: This command toggles the main monitor map camera on or off. It’s not as common as other commands, but it can be useful for keeping an eye on your surroundings and teammates.

Advanced Commands

  • Switch [player name]: This command alternates between each player’s camera view on the screen. This helps guide teammates through dangerous areas or provide them with information about their surroundings.
  • Ping [Radar Booster name]: This command reveals the location of the Radar Booster to your crewmates, which can be helpful for them finding their way back to the ship.
  • Unlocking Secured Doors: This command allows you to open secured doors using unique identification codes. These codes can be found on the doors themselves and consist of a letter and a number.
  • You can type c or d instead of typing Confirm or Deny when prompted.
  • The View Monitor command is particularly useful when paired with the Switch command, as it allows you to see what each player is seeing and provide them with specific guidance.
  • Remember that codes for unlocking doors are always displayed on the doors themselves.
