FFXIV: Heavensward Datamine Reveals Job Skill Changes, Au’Ra Starting Stats, and More

Pre-loading for Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward began earlier today, just 24 hours before Early Access. It hasn't taken long for fans of the game to dive into the files and determine some of the changes that Director Naoki Yoshida has teased, but never detailed.

IMPORTANT: Full Details on All the New Heavensward Abilities and When You Get Them

First, if you plan on race changing to Au'Ra, the new race coming in the expansion, you may be wondering what the starting stats are. There are two clans, each of which begin with the following stats:

  • Raen: 17 Str. 21 Dex. 18 Vit. 20 Int. 22 Mnd. 22 Pie.
  • Xaela: 23 Str. 20 Dex. 21 Vit. 20 Int. 17 Mnd. 19 Pie.

So, if you care about having a stat advantage and want a more melee focused character, make a Xaela. If you want to be a caster, go with Raen.

A bunch of new icons have been leaked. Check them out:

You may be wondering how long it'll take you to go from level 50 to 60. Reddit user Hezkezl posted his findings, which are the following. The experience needed to go from 49 to 50 is included for reference.
