Forza Motorsport 6 might not hit store shelves until September 15th, but Turn 10 Studios has already wrapped up v1.0 development for the product. In other words, the game has gone gold, giving its developer more than two weeks to prepare for launch.
Alongside the news that development for Forza Motorsport 6 has completed is the announcement that on September 1st a demo for the title will become available at no cost.
Last year Forza Horizon 2, which was developed by Playground Games with assistance from Turn 10 Studios, was the recipient of what would become known as one of the best free demos in video game history. Xbox gamers applauded its high quality and wealth of available content . Many gamers are hoping for something similarly spectacular to either give themselves something to play while they wait for release, or see what the game is all about.
The Forza Motorsport 6 news doesn't end there as 10 more vehicles have been confirmed for the game, bringing the total car count up to a staggering 460. This figure rivals Forza Motorsport 4, which had 500 vehicles that were impressive at the time, but noticeably less detailed than what's being delivered on the Xbox One. Below are the 10 new confirmed cars:

Forza Motorsport 6 earned very positive attention at E3 2015 for several reasons, including its introduction of franchise-first rain effects bolstered by puddles that change racing conditions in a dramatic way. Since then racing fans have been delighted to learn that it'll also include new tracks, including Daytona, Circuit of the Americas, Lime Rock Park, Monza, Watkins Glen, and Brands Hatch. Also, the return of Rio de Janeiro from Forza 1 has been showcased with great reception. As a result, Microsoft is confident in its potential performance, offering an Xbox One Limited Edition Forza 6 bundle next month.
